Years 5-7 had an enjoyable afternoon with Sentinus as part of their WW2 topic. The children had to make a WW2 Lander.
The Challenge
You are part of an aid mission with no support. You need to drop supplies by plane but there are insufficient parachutes. Some of these supplies are of a very fragile nature.
Design and build a parachute or lander which is capable of landing supplies from a height without damaging the supplies.
