Christmas Show
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces at our Christmas Shows, parents, grandparents, friends, and of course our governors, thank you for your continued support. In a small rural school like ours, that sense of community means everything, and we are truly blessed to have it in abundance.
The children worked so hard to bring a festive treat, showcasing incredible talent, singing, acting, playing the tin whistle, or simply finding the courage to get up on stage. For some, remembering lines and where to stand was a challenge; for others, it was battling those nerves and turning anxious excitement into pure Christmas magic.
Our P1 and P2 pupils started us off with the Christmas story, a heartwarming reminder of what this season is all about. Then P3 and P4 presented ‘Tinsel,’ which left everyone glittering with joy and we finished with P5, P6, and P7, ‘Santa’s Setback’, a tale full of festive fun with a few surprises along the way.
A massive thank you to our dedicated staff and Mrs Sweeney for their creativity, patience, and endless energy in preparing the shows, to parents and families, for encouraging your children, helping with costumes, and cheering them on. It really does take a village, and we have a wonderful one here!
