This morning we extended a very warm welcome to all our children, staff, parents, grandparents, and all those who play a special role in the lives of our young people in our school. A morning of celebration of family, of community, of faith and of the traditions that shape who we are.
Some of the special people in our lives were able to join us, others were in different counties and even countries and some very dearly loved, were with us in spirit and in memory, watching over us from heaven.
It was an enjoyable morning filled with beautiful singing, expressive poetry, Irish dancing, fantastic tin whistle playing and of course traditional cross making.
A heartfelt thank you to all who helped make it such a special occasion.
