This week our pupils enjoyed celebrating Shrove Tuesday with a fun and tasty pancake‑making activity. Children learned about the tradition of Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Tuesday, which marks the beginning of Lent.
Throughout the day, classes took turns mixing batter, flipping pancakes, and adding their favourite toppings. The activity helped pupils develop practical skills, work together as a team, and learn about an important cultural and religious tradition.
The delicious smell of pancakes filled the school, and smiles were shared all around! Thank you to all staff who helped make the morning both educational and enjoyable for our pupils.
