We hosted a ‘Parents In Numeracy’ session to inform our parents about Numeracy in St. Brigid’s and how they can help their child at home. Parents give children their first experience of Maths and it is important for the child that this is positive. Research indicates children whose parents take an active interest in their child’s education make greater progress, have more positive attitudes towards school, feel happier at school and achieve more at school.
We were delighted with the number of parents who attended and hope the information provided helps you and your child during our PIN initiative over the coming weeks.
