On Friday 8th March Primary 3-7 visited the Tim Peake Spacecraft exhibition and STEM workshop at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum Cultra.This visit was part of our programme of events to celebrate British Science Week and our World Around Us Space topic. The trip was facilitated by a Kickstart Science Grant. Pupils were able to view the Soyuz Space craft in which Tim returned to Earth from the International Space Station in June 2016.They were able to step inside a space suit and learn more about space. Pupils designed,made and launched their own rockets in a super STEM workshop. Many thanks to the super staff at Cultra for providing us with a very enjoyable and informative day.
