Gardening Club

The Gardening Club at St Brigid’s Primary School gives children the opportunity to learn about nature and gardening in a calm, hands‑on and enjoyable setting. Pupils take part in a range of activities such as planting seeds, caring for plants, exploring soil and learning about the seasons and wildlife.

The club encourages responsibility, teamwork and patience, while helping children develop practical skills and an appreciation for the natural environment. Pupils are supported to work together, take pride in nurturing their plants and gain confidence through seeing their efforts grow and succeed.

The Gardening After‑School Club is a relaxing and rewarding part of our after‑school provision, supporting children’s wellbeing by offering a peaceful, outdoor‑focused end to the school day while fostering curiosity and respect for nature.
